Radical abstraction. Strict simplification. A purely primary palette. Piet Mondrian was born in 1872 in the Netherlands. He lived and worked in Paris, London, and New York—developing one of the most unique and recognizable artistic styles of all time.

Strong shapes. Courageous colors. A tapestry of geometry. French painter Robert Delaunay was born in Paris in 1885. He experimented successfully with many different styles of painting—from Neo Impressionism, to Cubism, to Futurism and beyond.

Master of minimal. Painterly pioneer. Radical Revolutionary. Born to Polish parents, but raised and trained in Russia, Kazimir Malevich was a 20th century avant-garde artist best known for his super simplified, geometric paintings.
